Point HorrorPoint Horror is a popular series of horror fiction for young adults. R. L. Stine, Diane Hoh, Carol Ellis, Caroline B. Cooney, Auline Bates, Lael Littke, Barbara Steiner, are a few American authors who have penned the novels in the series. Some of the latest books in this series have been written by British authors like Celia Rees and Andrew Matthews. The popularity of the Point Horror books soared in the mid-nineties. Some of the early books in this series include ‘The Lifeguard’ and ‘Trick or Treat’, by Richie Tankersley Cusick. Cusick is an American author with more than 20 novels to her credit. Early novels included ‘The Baby-Sitter’ by R.L. Stine, a well-known American novelist, who is also called the Stephen King of children’s literature. The Blind Date was the first teen horror novel penned by Stine. Some of his other novels in the Point horror series include Beach Party, the Boyfriend, the Baby-Sitter II and the Girlfriend. Diane Hoh’s Nightmare Hall series is a popular offering in the Point Horror series. Some of the titles in the Nightmare Hall series include The Silent Scream, The Roommate, Deadly Attraction, The Whisperer, and Kidnapped. One can also get Point Horror collections, which is a compilation of three novels. The Point Horror 1 collection includes Mother's Helper by A. Bates, The Invitation by Diane Hoh and Beach Party by R.L.
