Hiab

Hydrauliska Industri AB, or Hiab as it is more commonly known, is a Finland-based manufacturer of heavy engineering equipment. Loader cranes, demountable containers, forestry cranes, tail lifts and forklifts are some of the specialised engineering equipment manufactured by the company, which is currently owned by Cargotec Corporation. Hiab was primarily a loader crane brand owned by Partek Corporation, one of the oldest industrial companies of Finland. Later on, in 2004, after the acquisition of Partek by KONE Corp., its load handling business wing was named Hiab. The company came under the control of Cargotec Corporation after the de-merger of KONE Corporation.
