KubotaKubota Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of tractors and heavy equipment, and was founded in February 1890, initially as a manufacturer of cast-iron water pipes. Kubota turned its attention towards the powered equipment market in the early 1990s. It is based in Osaka, Japan, and established its UK subsidiary, Kubota (U.K.) Limited, in 1979, in Thames, Oxfordshire. Kubota UK’s Oxfordshire headquarters house the company’s service and parts support, sales and marketing teams, distribution, and training and product development for the UK and Irish markets. Kubota’s Oxfordshire facility was awarded the ISO 9002 accreditation in 1996. Kubota (U.K.) Limited has been a major innovator and is credited with a number of “first” in the UK market. For example, Kubotra was the first company to launch a four-wheel drive compact tractor and four-wheel drive ride-on front rotary mower. It is also credited with being the first company to introduce hydrostatic transmission systems for its compact tractors and diesel ride-on mowers. Kubotya was also the first company to introduce power steering systems as standard for its line of ride-on mowers and 19hp - 45hp tractors. Kubota also pioneered the development of Bi-Speed Turn, a system which automatically speeds up the tractor's front wheels when turning, which results in faster, tighter turns and also reduces tyre and surface scuffing. Besides, the company regularly launches new approved specialist matching implements so as to enable Kubota compact tractors to work around the year with maximum efficiency. Kubota tractors and generators are also available for sale on many online shopping portals. Also there are many firms which allow users to hire Kubota products for usage. |
