Massey Ferguson

Massey Ferguson is a manufacturer for agricultural equipments, which are sold across the world. Massey Ferguson derived it's name from the founders – Daniel Massey and Harry Ferguson in 1958, although it was formed in 1953. Harry Ferguson was a pioneer of three-point-linkage system tractor design, on which most of the tractors are based even today. Daniel Massey on the other hand had a simple workshop, which produced farm equipments. Today, the company is a part of AGCO Corporation and operates as an individual brand.

Massey Ferguson has extended it's product line and services much beyond tractors. The tractors have been classified as per the amount of HP produced by their engines. Apart from a full range of tractors that it offers, Massey Ferguson also provides products such as harvesting machinery, implements, garden and municipal machinery, quad-bikes and other material handling equipments. The company also sells spare parts for tractors and gives services like training to use the equipments efficiently and correctly, agricultural advice, assistance in sourcing international funding and finance packages for retailing and online services for used equipments. All the equipment and products sold by Massey Ferguson are hallmarked so that a customer is assured that he/she is buying high quality, performance-oriented products that are reliable, durable and easy to operate. The manufacturing of products has been segregated into five plants located at Brazil, US, Denmark and France. The operation at Denmark handles research and development to enhance precision in farming.
