Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo is a well-known automobile manufacturer from Italy, founded in 1910. It has been a part of Fiat Group since 1986 and was initially known as ALFA, which is an acronym for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili. The 1910 24HP was the first car produced under the ALFA brand tag and was designed by Giuseppe Merosi. The company has been actively participating in many motor races for a long time and has led to victory in many prestigious racing events like Targa Florio, Mille Miglia and Le Mans, as well as Formula 1, Prototypes, Touring and Fast Touring races.

Alfa Romeo has been producing many cars since the pre-war times and still continues to manufacture top-class cars. It has produced many concept cars, often made by famous design houses and designers like Pininfarina, Bertone, Zagato and Giugiaro. One of the famous cars designed by Pininfarina was the Alfa Romeo Spider, which was a huge success and was showcased in many Hollywood movies as well. It was the last design on which Battista Pininfarina had personally worked on and was manufactured in limited numbers. It is still one of the most sought after models and was seen in Hollywood movies like the Dustin Hoffman film, "The Graduate" of 1967, a James Bond movie, "Octopussy" of 1983 and a few more.

The current models of Alfa Romeo include the Alfa Romeo 147, Alfa Romeo Crosswagon Q4, Alfa Romeo 159, Alfa Romeo 166, Alfa Romeo GT, Alfa Romeo Brera and Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.
