Audi A6

Audi A6 is a mid-size luxury car introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi. It is offered in sedan and estate/Avant body styles. After three generations of the Audi 100, the fourth generation C4 was launched in 1994 and was rebadged as Audi A6. It came with new engines: 1.8 20V, 2.8 30V, 1.9 TDI and the 2.5 R5 TDI.

The fifth generation of Audi was introduced in 1997 with a brand new exterior design. The engines were also updated with crisp 30-valve 2.4 and 2.8 V6s. Along with optional manual or 5-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, the Audi A6 C5 features flared wheel arches, revised headlamps, improved grille design and 17x8” wheels.

The new A6 was revamped with sophisticated technology and body design. Released in 2005, it features the Multi Media Interface, a system that controls in-car entertainment, satellite navigation, climate control and suspension configuration. The C6 also comes with a new 6-speed tiptronic gearbox. Two versions of the C6 were later introduced; the Avant design in 2005 and the Allroad design in 2006. The Avant is offered with either a 2.7 or 3.0 diesel or a 3.2 or 4.2 petrol. The Allroad is equipped with a Lamborghini-derived 5.2 L V10 that produces 320kW.
