BMW is a German manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles. BMW manufactures a wide range of cars, from small family cars to luxury cars to sports utility vehicles. The BMW 1 series is a small family car. The latest 1-series is based on the E87 1 platform and was launched in 2004. The 3 series is the company’s entry-level luxury sedan, and was launched in 1975. The high-performance version of the 6 series is called M6. The 7-series cars from BMW are luxury cars. The X3 is BMW’s second SUV, the first being the X5, production of which ceased in 2007.
