Golf Vr6

The Golf VR6 is a compact family car produced by Volkswagen. With more than 24 million manufactured by 2005, this car is Volkswagen’s best selling model and ranks third amongst the world’s best selling cars. The VR6 engine was developed specially by the Volkswagen Group. With working functions similar to the V engine, the VR6 has cylinders that are offset from each other and tilted at an angle of 10.6 or 15 degrees instead of the standard 45, 60 or 90 degrees.

A third-generation VW model, the Golf VR6 was launched in November 1991 and gained instant recognition as winning Car of the Year in 1992. The VW Golf VR6 is powered by a 2.8 L 6-cylinder engine that provides 172 hp which is equal to 128 kW. Its main features include power steering, 15-inch alloy wheels, anti-lock braking system, traction control, air-conditioning and optional Highline leather trim. It also comes with front fog lights, electric windows, rear wash wipe, sun roof, twin air bags, FM radio and cassette player. It can perform 0-60 mph in seven seconds with a top speed of 140 mph.
