Range Rover Sport

The Range Rover Sport is a high-performance vehicle model launched by Land Rover, a renowned British manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and sport-utility vehicles (SUVs). Land Rovers are elegant vehicles that are also available in the American market. These vehicles are manufactured at the Solihull production facility near Birmingham, England. The original inspiration for the first Land Rover prototype was the jeep chassis. Birmabright is the name given to the anti-rust light alloy of aluminium and magnesium, which is mostly used in the chassis of this vehicle. This metal makes the Land Rover tough and durable. The Land Rover is offered for both military and commercial uses.

Besides the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, the Freelander and the Discovery/LR3 have been introduced to the public in recent years. The Range Rover Sport was launched in the year 2005. It is a medium-sized luxury SUV that can accommodate up to five passengers. Based on the 6-speed Jaguar AJ-V8 engine, this vehicle offers a 6-speed automatic transmission. It comes with the TDV6 turbodiesel engine outside the North America. The compact Range Rover Sport belongs to the Range Rover family that consisted of larger vehicles. Land Rover has classified the Range Rover Sport as a sports tourer. It is quite similar to the Land Rover Discovery/LR3. The Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE trim was introduced in 2006.
