Suzuki SJSuzuki Motor Corporation is a Japanese automobile company that manufactures a wide range of automobiles and engine products. This company was established in 1909 by Michio Suzuki at Hamamatsu, Shizouka, Japan as a looming company. In spite of the success as a looming company, Suzuki diversified into building automobiles with popular consumer demand. Over the years Suzuki has manufactured a wide variety of automobiles including Grand Vitara, Ignis, Jimny, Swift, the Suzuki LJ-Series and the Suzuki SJ-Series. Suzuki SJ was introduced as a successor to the Suzuki LJ, and was sold as Suzuki Jimny in Japan. The SJ-Series of cars were known by several names worldwide. The Suzuki SJ 410 and Suzuki SJ 413, apart of the Suzuki SJ-series were introduced in 1982. The SJ-Series was lengthened and widened to cater to the huge demand for the low wheelbase version of the SJ410. The SJ410 was an upgraded version of the LJ80 and was equipped with a larger version of the LJ80's 1.0 L 4-cylinder engine. This engine was capable of delivering a maximum speed of 68 MPH at 45 HP. The SJ-410 was available as a pickup truck, van, convertible, 2-door hardtop and raised-roof hardtop. By 1984, the SJ series was further updated with an all-new aluminium 1324 cc engine, power front disc brakes, an attractive dashboard, a novel seat design and a different front grille. However, all SJ models were not updated, and the original narrow SJ410 is still manufactured in some countries. There are several automobile websites that sell Suzuki SJ spare parts and accessories. These sites also provide extensive guide and reviews on this automobile and its auto parts. |
