Track CarTrack cars are modified racing cars that are used for racing on specially made racing car tracks. Dirt track racing is a type of car racing done over oval tracks. In the earlier days of dirt track racing, two different types of race cars were used. These were open wheel racers that were made for racing and stock cars which were ordinary automobiles modified to varying degrees. Many race tracks support both types of race cars. Different types of cars incorporate powerful V8 engines to small, still powerful, 4-cylinder engines. Race cars fans prefer one or the other type cars. There are many different types of track cars like race cars and sprint cars. Sprint cars are high-powered race cars engineered for racing on short dirt or paved tracks.
