Adidas Trainers

Adidas offers a wide range of trainers, other footwear, clothing and accessories. These trainers include classics such as Adidas Gazelles, Stan Smith, Superstar, Spezial, Chile, Campus, Micropacers, etc. The Adidas Stan Smith trainers are the top selling trainers ever and have sold nearly over 30 million. Another popular Adidas offering is the Superstar trainers. The company launched the 35th anniversary limited edition Adidas Superstars trainers in 2005, to mark their 35th anniversary.

The Adidas trainers were first made in the year 1920 by Adolph (Adi) and Rudolph Dassler. The trainers made their appearance in the 1928 Olympic Games at Amsterdam. Adidas brand became one of the first brands to be promoted in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. By the year 1961, Adidas expanded its product range from trainers to footballs and clothing. The Adidas offerings were primarily marketed under two major logos, the trefoil logo and the three stripe logo. The ADIDAS ORIGINALS range bears the classic trefoil logo that was introduced in the year 1972. On the other hand, the Adidas Equipment range bears the three stripe logo which was introduced in the year 1996.

The contemporary line of products from Adidas includes Y-3 which offers products such as footwear, accessories and clothing. Additionally, Adidas footwear is available in adiSTAR and SUPERNOVA range which incorporate the ForMotion technology for enhancement in fluidity of the wearer.
