ChloÈ is a leading French luxury fashion design house well known for its women’s prÍt-a-porter, accessories, and fragrances. Founded in 1956 by Jacques Lenoir and French-Egyptian, Gaby Aghion, this fashion house is headquartered in Paris, France. The first collection of ChloÈ comprised elegant outfits that were presented at CafÈ De Flore in 1956. Soon after, the fashion house started gaining popularity because of the unique prints, soft materials and casual look of the clothes.

Over the years, ChloÈ has hired the most creative and innovative designers.. Karl Lagerfeld who worked with this fashion house from 1971 to 1983 created the feminine line of clothes during his tenure. Later, the fashion house hired British designer Stella McCartney in 1997, who took over from Karl Lagerfeld’s position. Her first collection which was shown in Paris in October 1997 was a huge hit. Stella McCartney’s signature pieces like lace camisoles and petticoat skirts reinforced the feminine image further. She departed from ChloÈ in 2001.

Later, Phoebe Philo was hired as a successor to Stella McCartney. Phoebe Philo’s signature style was described by the company as "luxurious, romantic and quintessentially French." She also created several trend setting bags and handbags , of which the ChloÈ Paddington Bag became a big hit in 2004. Today, ChloÈ bags, clothes, and fragrances are a symbol of style and elegance.
