Fendi

Well-known for its fashion accessories, Fendi is an Italian fashion designer brand founded by Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi in 1918. The shop was initially launched as a leather and fur shop by Adele Casagrande in Via del Plebiscito in central Rome. In 1925, after her marriage, Adele decided to change the name to Fendi. The business prospered and by 1946, five daughters of the couple had entered the business. They invented new ways of working with fur, turning them into fashionable garments. They learnt tanning, dyeing and treating, and turned the tough, heavy garment into light, easy to wear outfits. The first couture of Fendiís fur collection was introduced in 1966 and three years later, it introduced its first ready to wear fur collection in Florence.

Fendi opened its first freestanding store, a 6,000-square-foot Paris headquarters, at 24 Rue FranÁois Premier in March 2001. The store bolstered brand recognition with a full line-up of accessories, shoes, luggage, ready-to-wear and a fur line heavily tinged with mink. Fendiís product line includes menís collection, womenís collection, Fendi shoes, Fendi Watches, Fendi handbags, Fendi sunglasses, Fendi Cologne, Fendi Wallet and Fendi bag.
