Nicole Farhi

Nicole Farhi is a well-known French designer who enjoys international popularity. She has also emerged as one of the most sought after designers in the UK. Nicole worked as a freelance designer in Paris and she shifted to London in the 1970s for working with Stephen Marks on the French Connection brand. Presently she has eight freestanding stores in London, apart from concessions in Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. Nicole Farhi’s line of womens wear called Farhi was a collection of sporty and relaxed wear designed for women’s weekend wardrobe. Today the brand includes swimwear, shoes, accessories and eveningwear in its fold. The now famous collection of menswear was introduced in 1989. The diffusion line for menswear was launched in 1996. The products for men include trousers, tops, shirts, jeans, knitwear, jackets and coats. Apart from menswear and womenswear, Nicole Farhi offers a Home collection. The Home collection was launched in 1998 and encompasses ceramics, textiles and glass, among others. These products are designed to capture classical elegance and modern design. Some of the products in this Nicole Farhi collection include dinner range, glassware products like vases, candle sets, etc.
