Prada ShoesPrada is a well-known Italian fashion house founded by Mario Prada in Milan, in 1913. Miuccia Prada, Mario Pradaís grand daughter, inherited the leather goods business from her mother and led the company's expansion into couture. She designed the first collection of the autumn/winter season of the "ready to wear" collection in 1989. Later, in 1992, Pradaís low-priced collection targetting the younger masses was introduced. It was called the Kelsie Jones Miu Miu collection and boasted earthy shades with less of a haute couture look and, overall, evoked a more bohemian style. This was followed by the Prada Sport shoes collection under the label "Linea Rossa" collection, which featured tennis shoes. The company Prada produces high-end ready-to-wear clothes for men and women in addition to a range of children's clothes; fragrances, cosmetic products and accessories for men and women, including handbags, shoes, wallets and sunglasses. Today, Prada designs various types of shoes for both men and women, from sport shoes to sandals to stilettos to wedges. These shoes look rich and elegant and are a tad expensive. There are different patterns and styles of Prada shoes in various colours like pink, black, blue, yellow and more. Some Prada shoes are simple while others boast of elegant embellishments that render them a sophisticated look. Prada won a Council of Fashion Designers of America International Award for accessories in 1993, and is considered one of the most influential clothes designers in the fashion industry. Currently, it has three main large stores that carry more merchandise than regular boutiques, in New York, Beverly Hills and Tokyo. In addition, it has 14 locations in the U.S., 6 in New York as well as boutiques in Bal Harbour, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Chicago, Honolulu, Waikiki, and Las Vegas. Prada shoes are also easily available at online stores. |
