EnchanticaThe Enchantica is a collection of fantasy dragons, wizards and witches figurines that was originally manufactured by Holland Studio Craft. The company was in the production of small resin animal figures and a range of other figurines called "After the Party Mice" sculpted by Andrew Bill. Enchantica actually wanted to produce a fantasy line such as JRR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings; however, due to the huge copyright fees, the idea was dropped. Eventually, they decided to create their own fantasy story, and thus Enchantica was born with Andrew Bill’s first book "The Wrath of the Ice Sorcerer". With the book becoming a bestseller, the company decided to bank on the success by bringing the characters of the book to life. Representing the characters of the book, the exquisitely finished porcelain statues and figurines became extremely popular in the 'World of Fantasy'. This led to the creation of Enchantica collectors club that existed from 1990 until 2001. The members of the club were given a membership piece and allowed to buy special club editions. Today, there are many masterfully designed dragons, wizards and witches available in the market. These figurines and statues are supported by interesting and fantastic tales of sorcery and adventure. Some of the best selling figurines include Enchantica dragon, Enchantica carrier dragon, Enchantica figurines, Enchantica statues and Enchantica dragons. |
