Lilliput Lane

Known across the UK, Lilliput Lane is a manufacturer of collectible items, the company being especially famous for its creative houses and cottages. Through intimation from the founder, David Tate, the company first started rolling out its collectibles in the market in 1982. The popularity of the company rapidly spread, so much so, that in 1986, the foundation of the Lilliput Lane Collectors' Club was laid where today there are more than a thousand members sharing an interest in Lilliput Collectibles. The company makes cottages and houses of fantasy, inspired from actual residences. These are hand painted and have vibrant colours that immediately appeal to the eyes.

These cottages are given names such as Rose Cottage, Skirsgill (where it all began), Little Lost Dog, Gulliver’s Pantry, Wishing Well, Skirsgill Lodge and Honeysuckle Dovecote after the look that they reveal or the speciality that they possess. The company also offers a facility to repair the cottages that have been accidentally damaged. Since the company understands that collectibles can be perfect gifts for many occasions they have a special gift packing service for their gift range. Some of the products are sold at a cheaper price even though they may be in perfect condition. This is done to keep the overall stock size constant. This range is known as the "Retirement Range". Most of these products are available in the month of March and September.
