Sony Vaio Laptop

Vaio is a sub-brand of the electronics giant Sony that deals in a large number of computer products. Sony globally re-entered the computer market with their Vaio brand. Vaio was introduced in 1996 with the desktops series known as PCV. The Sony Vaio laptops have components from a variety of companies like Intel processors, Fujitsu hard drives and Intel or NVIDIA graphics processors, among others. The brand Vaio today, has become synonymous with laptops. The brand has won the PC Pro ’Highly Commended’ award 2005.

A large series of Vaio laptops are manufactured under the Vaio brand name. These comprise Sony Vaio Ar notebooks, Sony Vaio Bx Laptops, Sony Vaio C Laptops, Sony Vaio CR Laptops, Sony Vaio FZ Laptops, Sony Vaio G Series, Sony Vaio N Laptops, Sony Vaio TX Laptops, Sony Vaio SZ Laptops, Sony Vaio UX Laptops and Sony Vaio TZ Laptops, which are its current models. The SZ series of laptops by the company feature the Intel GMA 950 graphics chip as well as an NVIDIA graphics chip. The Blu-ray Disc burner was first incorporated in the AR Series.
