Revox

Revox is a well known brand name in the world of home entertainment. It is one of the leading manufacturers of consumer electronics which follow the philosophy for turning simple entertainment into a fascinating experience. "ReVox" is the brand logo sporting a line which reads as "The Philosophy of Excellence". This Swiss company was created in 1950s by Studer as a consumer brand. Studer is a Swiss audio equipment manufacturing company. In 1990, Revox brand was taken over by a group of private investors.

Revox manufactures high performance audio equipment like open-reel tape recorders. Some of these audio equipments were very popular such as the Revox G36 (valve type), Revox A77 (solid state with relay controls) and B77 (solid state with logic control). The A700 was another line machine that allowed the user to have a variable tape speed from 2.5 to 22.5 inches per second.

In 1999, Revox entered the market of complete home entertainment by launching video and other multimedia products along with their audio products. In 2003, the first Revox audio server, M 57 was launched which could be completely integrated into a Revox Multi-room system. It also produces high quality multi-room entertainment products, plasma displays and other high-end products.
