The Sizzix brand was launched in 2001 after Ellison developed the technology for the Sizzix machine. Products under the brand are manufactured and distributed by Ellison. A popular product under the Sizzix brand is the Sizzix die-cut machine. It is a unique, multi-purpose and affordable die-cutting machine used for a variety of art and craft making purposes.

The Sizzix die-cutting machine can perform a variety of tasks including cutting more than a hundred die-cuts and embossing materials like paper, self-adhesive rubber, sheet magnet, foil, static cling vinyl, fabric, felt, thin metal, paper wood, shrink plastic and polyfoam. This machine comes with hundreds of themed dies including decorative sets such as zoo, pets, wedding, tags, birthday, flowers, bugs, stars, baby, Christmas and love. The smaller version of the Sizzix Machine is the Sizzix Sidekick. It measures four inches high and weighs just about two pounds. It has all the features as the Sizzix Machine. It performs detailed die-cutting and enables quick embossing. Additionally, it is equipped with a roller system that can create elaborate die-cuts and embossed designs from lightweight sheets of paper.
