Bear Factory

The Bear Factory is a toy store that retails stuffed animals. These animals include teddy bears, lions, hares, penguins and elephants. The Bear Factory is located on the historic main street, St. Charles. Kids can make stuffed bears and other animals themselves using the instructions given for the same at the ’Stuffing Station’. The children are offered an option of 25-30 different animal skins to choose from. A variety of accessories and outfits are also available to make the stuffed animals look more attractive. The employees of the company hand sew the animal skins after they are stuffed by the kids. The children are given a carrying box to hold the hand stuffed animal as well as a birth certificate for the animal.

The stuffed animals from the Bear Factory make a great gift for children, which coupled with the entire stuffing event forms a worthwhile treat. Birthday parties and other parties are organized by the Bear Factory where the children get to pick their own stuffed animal, a wishing star to make a wish and a discount coupon that they can use to buy any outfit for their stuffed animal. Different fun games are played at the party to entertain the children. In cases of birthday parties, the birthday child receives a t-shirt for his/her stuffed animal. The Bear Factory was acquired in the United Kingdom by the Build-A-Bear Workshop in 2006.
