Bring It OnLaunched in 2000, the movie "Bring It On" depicts the life of a high school cheerleading squad comprising Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku and Gabrielle Union in the lead roles. The movie was directed by Peyton Reed with Jessica Bendinger as its writer. This movie features a story depicting competing cheerleading teams that must try and adopt a different approach in order to win the title as the best cheerleading team amongst numerous schools. The movie stylistically portrays each of its cast members with unique qualities that swing and dance and perform to choreographed musical numbers. The entire scenario is an envisioned dream of the prime protagonist. The movie’s success amongst teenagers and school kids lead on to the production of a sequel titled "Bring It On Again", in 2003. This sequel starred Anne Judson-Yager and Bree Turner with director Damon Santostefano. Claudia Grazioso, Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn co-wrote the movie’s story and scripts. The Bring It On sequel was launched as a straight-to-video movie instead of debuting in the theatres. It was soon followed by yet another sequel titled "Bring It On: All or Nothing", which was also another direct-to-video launched in late 2006. The movie’s producers have plans to launch the fourth movie, christened as "Bring It On: In It to Win It". This edition is currently in production. |
