BrumCreated by Rex Garrod, Brum is a popular British television show produced about the escapades of a fictional car. It was first broadcasted in the year 1991 when Toyah Willcox was the narrator. Tom Wright is the narrator for the latest Brum series. Brum was developed by Ragdoll Productions for Hit Entertainment and Anne Wood is the producer. Tom Poole wrote and directed this television show. There have been several other writers for this show through the years. This children’s television series is action-packed and enjoyable throughout its running time of ten minutes. Every episode of this show starts with the car known as Brum moving out from the garage and heading towards the ’Big Town.’ Brum is a half-scale replica of an Austin 7 convertible that was made at the end of the 1920s. This character drives on its own but does not possess the ability to speak. With the aid of narration and pantomime, his thoughts and feelings are conveyed to the viewers. Brum can also flash and swivel headlamps, open and close its bonnet and doors, and much more. Some of the other characters in this show include Granny Slippers, Mr Brillo and Big Town Manager.
