Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Known for its cult following, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a long lasting American television series that was last broadcast on May 20, 2003. This show ran for over 140 episodes since it was first aired on March 10, 1997. The concept of this fantastic adventure series was created by writer-director Joss Whedon under his Mutant Enemy production banner. Sarah Michelle Gellar played the lead role of Buffy Anne Summers. This young protagonist was selected by fate to fight evil forces like vampires and demons. Buffy was trained and aided by a Watcher, a member of the Watchers’ Council, for performing the dangerous role of a slayer. The Scooby Gang, a bunch of loyal friends supported her in her mission. The members of the Scooby Gang included Anya Jenkins (later deceased), Angel, Andrew Wells, Xander Harris, and Dawn Summers.

This television series became so popular that the franchise was extended to include comics, video games, and novels. Numerous enthusiasts of this show can buy ’Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ DVDs and Video CDs. There is a great demand for ’Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Season 8 on DVD.
