Disney Collection

The term "Disney Collection" is used to refer to certain Disney compilation videos, which bear the "Disney Collection" tag in their name, or is used to refer to ad hoc and informal assortment of various and sometimes unrelated videos sold by collectors.

Popular and "proper" "Disney Collection" editions are those that are/were made and sold by Walt Disney Home Entertainment, the home video distribution division of the Walt Disney Company. These editions include Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection, Walt Disney's Studio Film Collection, Walt Disney Family Film Collection, Walt Disney Film Classics, The Love Bug Collection, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Cartoons Collection, Walt Disney Legacy Collection, Walt Disney Magical Collection, Walt Disney Storybook Collection, Walt Disney Pixar Collection, Walt Disney Cars Collection, Walt Disney princess Quilt Collection, Walt Disney Signature Collection, Walt Disney 100 Years Collection, etc.

Besides the above mentioned titles, Disney has also released numerous special and Christmas edition titles, which often contain extra or bonus material, and more often than not sport special packing. Consequently these are produced in relatively fewer numbers, and as such are more prized by collectors.
