Most Haunted

Most Haunted is a British television programme based on paranormal activity and falls in the genre of reality television. This programme features a team of investigators, who investigate paranormal activity by travelling around Britain. This programme can be viewed on satellite and cable channels like Living, Living2 and Ftn. The show is led by Yvette Fielding and husband, Karl Beattie and is produced by Antix Productions. The investigating team has Yvette Fielding, David Wells, Ciar·n O'Keeffe, Karl Beattie and Paul Ross. This show was first telecasted on 25 May, 2002 and today it is airing the ninth series.

The team travels all around United Kingdom in hunt for paranormal activities. The show features a presenter, a psychic medium and a parapsychologist that provide paranormal and scientific explanations in various paranormal situations. Sometimes, the production crew also appears on-screen to give their inputs. The photographic style of this show is completely different. In the previous series, locations were often illuminated with blue and green colours. Presently, the team is using broadcast Sony DVcams and Sony PC150 miniDV cameras with night vision facility, along with web cams.

The popularity of the show has led to the development of several sister shows such as Most Haunted Extra, Most Haunted Unseen and Most Haunted Live. Most Haunted Live is extremely popular as it is broadcast from a haunted location with cameras following the team. Most Haunted has gained immense popularity throughout United Kingdom. DVDs and books of the series are available for the fans of this show.
