Prison Break Season 1

Prison Break is a popular American TV sitcom that premiered in August 2005 on Fox Network. Produced by Adelstein-Parouse Productions in association with Original Television and 20th Century Fox Television, the prison drama series was originally planned for only two seasons but later went on to the third due to its immense popularity. The series revolves around Lincoln Burrows who is accused of murdering a powerful man, none other than the brother of Americaís female vice president. But Lincolnís brother, Michael Scofield feels he is framed and gets himself planted in the same prison in the hope of helping his brother break out of prison.

The TV series was actually filmed in a prison lending authenticity and attracting peopleís interest in this genre. Also its serialized structure had viewers glued and after the first 13 episodes of season 1 it was nominated for the Peopleís Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama in 2005. Prison Break got a dream debut with Fox launching a huge advertising campaign and the first show, aired on August 29, 2005, had an approximate audience of over 10.5 million viewers. Prison Break Season I DVD was released in 2006 and Prison Break Season 2 DVD was released in 2007 just prior to the airing of the new seasons.
