WrestleMania is one of the world’s biggest wrestling events. It is held annually and features some of the biggest wrestling matches, musical performances and even celebrity appearances. The concept of WrestleMania was conceived by Vince McMahon Jr. The very first WrestleMania event was held in New York City in Madison Square Garden on March31, 1985. It was held by the World Wrestling Federation. Many wrestlers have participated in this event. Some of them include Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Randy Savage and many more. This highly-publicised event has a huge fan following. WrestleMania events are held in different places across the United States. WWE WrestleMania 21 and WWE WrestleMania 23 events are extremely popular among fans due to the interesting matches. WWE WrestleMania has seen the presence of many celebrities like Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy and Donald Trump, among others. Many singers like Ray Charles, Ashanti, Michelle Williams, Little Richard and The DX Band, among others, have sung "America the Beautiful" in the event. Bands like P.O.D., Run DMC, Drowning Pool and Limp Bizkit have performed at this event as well. WrestleMania DVDs and VHS are available for fans. WrestleMania: The Complete Anthology DVD features WrestleMania 1-21events. In 2007, WWE released WrestleMania III Championship Edition DVD that featured the event, pre-event interviews and also extra matches. Merchandise of WrestleMania like photos, posters, games and apparel is also available.
