Pictures

A picture is a visual representation of an object, scene, person or abstraction produced on a surface like canvas, cloth and more. Pictures appear in different forms of art. They may be in the form of a drawing, sketch, painting or a photo print. Pictures in the form of drawing and painting are usually made with the use of instruments like graphite pencils, pen and ink, inked brushes, wax colour pencils, crayons, charcoals, pastels, markers, stylus, or various metals like silverpoint. The difference between the art of drawing and the art of painting is that drawing, generally, concentrates on marking dark lines onto paper, whereas painting includes layering of pigments with the help of a brush onto cloth or prepared surfaces.
