Estee Lauder

One name that stands out in the beauty industry is of cosmetics giant Estee Lauder ñ world’s topmost manufacturers and marketers of a range of skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products. Estee Lauder was founded in 1946 by Joseph Lauder and wife EstÈe Lauder in New York City, New York. The company started with just four skincare products. In 1948, EstÈe Lauder got selling space at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, where she personally started selling her beauty products.

EstÈe Lauder introduced the revolutionary Youth-Dew perfume in 1953, which became an instant rage and brought recognition to the brand. Gradually, the company started expanding and in 1960, the first international store was opened in the Harrods Department Store in London. Over the years, they continued to open outlets in different countries such as Central America, Denmark, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Belgium, among others. EstÈe Lauder launched Aramis Inc in 1964 that made fragrances and grooming products for men. In 1985 a perfume called Estee Lauder Beautiful for women was launched by the company, which soon became a hit among women.

Today, the EstÈe Lauder products are synonymous with high quality. The make up and skin care products are available in different varieties and cater to every woman’s need and taste. The EstÈe Lauder perfumes continue to be a rage among both men and women. These products are sold in many countries all over the world and under various brands such as Origins, MAC, Bobbi Brown essentials and Tommy Hilfiger.
