Jewellery has been a fascination for decades around the world. Different types of jewellery cater to three different segments: men, women, and children. Childrens jewellery is a huge market all over the world, thus, has created its own separate category. Like men and women, even kids have all kinds of jewellery including necklace, ring, earrings, pendants, cufflinks, watches, etc. However, people prefer costume jewellery and the not so expensive jewellery for children, because it is obvious that children may not be all that careful about their accessories.

Children still favour to wear jewellery with teddy bears, floral patterns, or dolphins on them. Heart is also a common shape observed in childrens jewellery. It is often noted that kids love to wear dangling jewellery. Therefore, while their bracelets have charms, other jewellery feature small motifs interlinked with their main jewellery. Parents also buy jewellery for infants. These include studs, small pendants, bracelets and chains.
