Nokia 6111Launched as an entry, mid-level GSM cell phone, in the late 2005, the Nokia 6111 is designed as a compact slider cell phone. Sporting a host of features, the Nokia 6111 brings with itself ease of use through a one touch 5-way joy-button. This 5-way button can be used to navigate the embedded operating system as well as a Web Page when surfing online using the in-built GPRS functionality. The advanced GPRS and EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) functionality of the Nokia 6111 allows the cell phone to be used as a base modem device attached to a computer. It ensures connection with a PC or Mac computers via a data cable to function as a high speed modem for dial-up connections to the internet. The Nokia 6111 cell phone supports a maximum data transfer rate of up to 236.8 kbps using Class 10 EDGE signalling through GPRS. This allows a user to connect to the internet at the touch of a button at speeds comparable to high-speed broadband services. The Nokia 6111 cell phone features a one megapixel digital camera sensor that allows the user to take pictures of sizes up to 1152 x 864 pixels. It also has advanced circuitry that allows the user to take pictures in dark regions or latter parts of the evenings using the ’Night Mode’ function. In addition, the cell phone is equipped with a flash light function that consists of a high powered LED that can illuminate the user’s immediate surroundings and help brighten up the final image output. The Nokia 6111 is available in various case designs and colours such as the Cath Kidston pink coloured case. |
