Nokia 6131

Launched in February 2006, the Nokia 6131 mobile phone features a stylish clamshell design with a push-to-open operation. This GSM phone has an active matrix TFT display that supports up to 262,144 colours (128 x 160 pixels).

The Nokia 6131 features a 1.3-megapixel camera backed by a full-screen viewfinder for the main as well as outer display screen. The camera has an 8x digital zoom and features PictBridge printing via USB cable. Listening to music is easy with various choices like the integrated MP3 player or the inbuilt FM stereo radio with Visual Radio. One can have faster browsing and downloads as it has EDGE Class 10 support over GPRS (Class 10). The distinct, spaced-out keys on the Nokia 6131 facilitate ease in dialling and messaging. The outer display of the phone shows a light for missed calls, SMS and calendar reminders.

The Nokia 6131 allows one to check emails accounts over SMTP, POP3 and IMAP4 network protocols. One can also merge video, text, images or voice clips for sending as an MMS message. This phone also features MIDI ringing tones with up to 64 polyphonic ring tones. The Nokia 6131 features 32 MB flash memory, 16 MB RAM onboard as well as support for MicroSD cards with storage capacity of up to 2 GB.
