BognerBogner offers a range of amplifier products for amateur and professional musicians. This company is known for high-performance guitar amplifiers. Reinhold Bogner, the founder of Bogner Amplification, had been designing and making amplifiers in his native Germany. He then settled down in Los Angeles after leaving Germany in the year 1989. He started customising and modifying guitar amplifiers for several well-known guitarists like Dann Huff, Allan Holdsworth, Steve Vai and Steve Stevens. It was only after Reinhold Bogner overhauled and restored the Marshall Plexi of Eddie Van Halen that the popularity of the amps soared. The company offers popular products like the Shiva, Ecstasy, Metropolis, Duende, Fish Preamp and the Uberschall. The Ecstasy is a three channel Bogner amplifier which was initially available as the 100b version for British guitarists. The Uberschall is a large dual channel Bogner amplifier that offers considerable gain. The Duende features a dynamic tube Sag and Compression that facilitates smooth playing and compensated recording output. The Metropolis is a medium-gain linear amplifier that features a single channel circuit sensitive to the shifting of guitar controls. One of the rarest of Bogner’s amplifiers is the all-tube Fish preamp that offers four channels to the guitarist. All their guitar amplifiers are much sought after for the rich tone they produce. There is a great demand for the Bogner Uberschall in the United Kingdom. |
