CaparisonCaparison Guitars is a company renowned for manufacturing custom shop electric guitars. Founded by the Japanese designer Itaru Kanno in 1995, the company is a division of the Kyowa-Shokai, a trading company. Although, the company was based in Tokyo, Japan, their guitars were actually produced in Nagoya, Japan. The first production models made available were the TAT, Horus and Angelus FSW. One of the best selling guitars from the Caparison brand is the Horus model that came with a 27 fret neck with clock inlays that change time for each fret position. The other models like the Caparison Dellinger and TAT models also featured such clock inlays on the fretboard but with a 24 fret necks. Some of the other popular models include the 7 String Dellinger, Angelus, FKV, Venus and Apple Horn. The brand also produces the "HGS" series of guitars that can play well with both low and standard tunings. The Company also makes its own humbucking, single coil guitar pickups, as well as dual rail humbucking pickups. The standard feature on most Caparison guitars is the "Push/Push" volume and tone potentiometers, which are used to activate pickup selecting and coil splitting functions on some models. One of the most recent caparison models is the Dellinger bass guitar. Distributors of caparison guitars can be found in USA, Denmark and Australia. |
