CarlsbroCarlsbro is a UK-based company that manufactures amplifiers, speakers and other sound equipment. It was established in 1959 by a small-time musician and engineer named Stuart Mercer at Nottinghamshire, England. Mercer combined his engineering skills with his basic music knowledge to create equipment that offered optimum sound and performance. By 1968, Carlsbro became primary equipment suppliers for many British bands and music venues. It eventually basked in the glory of rapid expansion and success, establishing a chain of shops called Carlsbro Retail and extending their production factory to about 10,000 feet. Their products include multipurpose systems, PA systems, kickstart and GLX series guitar amps, keyboard and bass amps, powered and unpowered mixers, crossovers and equalizers, weather resistant speakers, Delta, Orion and Gamma series of PA enclosures, wired and wireless microphones and a wide range of accessories.
