Crafter

Crafter company manufactures some of the world’s best acoustic and electric guitars. The company was founded by HyunKwon Park in April, 1972. He started the company with a workforce of just four employees in a 20 square metre area in the basement of his home. During the initial stages, the company manufactured classical guitars and sold them in the Korean domestic market. Due to increasing demand and rising popularity of their guitars, the company shifted to bigger premises in Yangju-gun in 1978. During those times, these guitars were sold under the name, Sungeum. Even today, Sungeum name is quite famous in the Korean market.

Later InJae Park, son of HyunKwon, joined the company in 1986. He chose ’Crafter’ as the new name of the company, as it was easy to remember and it honoured the craftsmen, who created these guitars. He like his father has designed many innovative and advanced guitars. The main motive of this company is to design the finest of guitars for musicians. These Crafter guitars are not put up for sale in the market, unless they pass the most stringent quality control and design standards. Crafter boasts dedicated and talented staff of 140 employees that relentlessly build superior guitars. Crafter Cruiser Electric line of guitars is quite popular among music stalwarts.

Crafter guitars are sold in around 30 countries and the brand is registered across 40 countries. Many models of Crafter acoustic guitars and electric guitars are available online.
