DanelectroDanelectro is a renowned producer of musical instruments that was established by Nathan I. Daniel, in 1947. Daniel was well-known for his creation of the Danelectro brand that manufactured amplifiers and guitars. The company specialised in guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers and effects units. By 1948, it started by producing amplifiers for Sears, Roebuck and Company and Montgomery Ward. Later, the company expanded its product line to include the Silvertone and Danelectro lines of solid-body electric guitars. By 1956, it launched the six-string electric bass that were later produced by Fender and other competitors. The company was eventually sold to MCA, an American corporation excelling in the music and television business. The company eventually closed down by 1969; however, owing to the collectors status of the Denelectro products, several companies in the United States and Japan have started making Denelectro replicas. Artists who endorsed Danelectro instruments include Pink Floyd, Tyson Meade, Robert Schneider, John Entwistle, Pete Townshend and Jeff Martin. Lately, the company launched the eStudio headphone amp ñ an electronic studio for a guitar that one can easily carry in the pocket. This small eStudio can be easily clipped to the belt or guitar strap. Some of the well-known instruments by Danelectro comprises Danelectro U1, Danelectro U2, Danelectro Black Paisley Liquid Metal Pedal, Danelectro 12 String guitar, Longhorn Baritone and Hodad Bass. |
