FenixThe Fenix Modular Synthesizer was developed by two Dutch designers, Bert Vermeulen and Marc Paping at the end of the twentieth century. Both Vermeulen and Paping worked at Synton, a Dutch company that built vocoders. While Paping (a product specialist) sold Fairlights, Vermeulen developed various products using the Synton name. The Fenix Modular Synthesizer has evolved from a couple of their earlier designs ñ the Synton 3000 modular synthesizer and the Syrinx Lead Synth. Featuring advanced and innovative features, the Fenix incorporates classic analogue technology for delivering good quality sound. It features a compact, space-saving design that allows it to be conveniently placed on top of a table or desk in the house. It is relatively light and portable such that it could be easily shifted or transported from place to place. The Fenix Modular Synthesizer features 65 rotary controls at the top half of the front panel. At the bottom half of this panel, there are about 140 banana-sockets for plugging in various other devices. The Fenix offers experimentation with real-time control and sound for an enjoyable experience. The Fenix Modular Synthesizer is much sought after online and in shops across UK. |
