Vintage GuitarThe term "vintage guitars" is used to refer to guitars which are now considered collectable and are at least more than 25 years old. However this criterion is very liberal and guitars which have a high desirability and are sought after by collectors are also often cited as "vintage", "unique", "classic", etc. The price of a vintage guitar depends on its rarity and its condition. Though in the case of vintage guitars, the brand name does play a rather important role, it is not very uncommon to see guitars made by small or "erstwhile less known" manufacturers selling at high prices due to their rarity and sound quality. Rare and authentic vintage Gibson, Fender, Les Paul, Yamaha, Hofner, Gretsch electric, acoustic guitars, bass guitars and other such products can be found on sale on many online shopping portals. Also the term "vintage guitars" may be used to refer to electric guitars belonging to the Vintage line, an electric guitar line manufactured by the John Hornby Skewes and Co. The Vintage guitar line comprises of Vintage V6 ICON Series, Vintage V100 ICON Series, Vintage V6 Series, Vintage TC200 Series, Vintage VS6 Series, Vintage V100 Series, Vintage V99 Series, Vintage VR100 Series, Vintage VHE100 Series, Vintage Rock Series/VRS100, Vintage Rock Series and Vintage VP6/VH51 Series. |
