Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ZVex Effects is an American company that specialises in the design and manufacture of effects pedals (or stomp boxes). The name of this company is derived from the founder, Zachary Vex. The effects pedals enhance the sound effects of instruments and are used by most professional musicians. They can be used with such instruments like guitars, basses, violins and keyboards. Some of the popular products offered by ZVex Effects include the Fuzzbox, Wooly Mammoth, Ringtone, Octane III, and the Nano Head. The subassemblies for several products are carried out in Taiwan, although their final assembly is done in the US. All ZVex products are high-end, despite being handmade.

ZVex Fuzz Factory is their most popular product. This innovative product features internal feedback loops and bias adjustments for components to provide superb control. Volume, Compress, Gate, Stability and Drive knobs are available on the Fuzz Factory. An advanced model known as the Vexter Series Fuzz Factory was introduced in December 2004. The company also makes a Probe line of effects such as the Fuzz probe and the Tremolo probe which are variants of other pedals. The copper plate used in this pedal series makes them unique.
