Canon 1D

The Canon 1D from Canon is the first Canon digital SLR camera featuring a sensor that captures a full 35 mm picture frame. It is based on the EOS-1V professional film SLR cameras. The 1D is a top-of-the-line digital AF SLR camera made for professionals to deliver higher performance with enhanced features seen never before. It sports an environmentally sealed magnesium body which is almost similar to an EOS-1V.

The Canon 1D is lightweight that offers a firm grip for easy of use. It has a powerful 4.48 megapixel CCD sensor that captures faster and accurate photos. Its powerful image processor captures high-resolution pictures in natural colours even in low-lighting situations with enhanced clarity. The Canon 1D provides 8 frames per second, 16 frame burst performance. It can generate raw files and JPEG's simultaneously when needed. The 45 AF points facilitates easy focusing of the subject instantly. Its varying shooting mode comprises Full Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Sports, Night Portrait and No Flash, among various others. This allows endless photographic possibilities for capturing great pictures. With a shutter speed of up to 1600, subjects in motion can be captured with crisp clarity using the Canon 1D.
