This new camera, the Canon 30D, features powerful enhancements for the amateur as well as professionals. It offers great features like 100,000 shutter cycle life, spot metering, selectable continuous shooting speed, varying PictureStyles and many more.

The Canon 30D digital camera features a lightweight and ergonomic body that is easy to handle in any demanding situation. Equipped with the 8.2-megapixel sensor the 30D captures high-resolution images with crisp clarity. The large LCD display screen display of 2.5 inches makes composing images easier, even in difficult-to-shoot angles. With the patented DIGIC II Image Processor, the Canon 30D can deliver enhanced images with faster auto-focusing time, accurate white balancing and improved noise performance. It's high light sensitivity of up to 3200 ISO allows instantly freezing fast moving subjects, giving high-quality images. Images can be stored in the Type II flash memory cards that are now available in up to 8 GB capacity. Faster image transfer is possible using a USB connection and direct printing of photos is enabled with Picture Bridge technology.
