KonicaKonica Corporation, the world's third-largest photo film maker, and Minolta Company, the leader in SLR cameras, came together in 2003 with a view to augmenting their strengths. The merger was to be their passkey to the big league. Konica Minolta's DiMAGE range of digital cameras offered a refreshingly different styling and was packed with a myriad of features. Ranging from the ultra-slim X20 to the efficient Z3, Konica Minolta digital cameras were made to appeal to a cross section of photographers. However, at the beginning of 2006, Konica Minolta bowed out from the digital camera market as it was unable to keep pace with other competitors. They will no longer be producing cameras. Nevertheless, Konica Minolta’s digital cameras have over the years made many stalwart digital cameras that continue to be on the market and find willing buyers. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2 was the most recent addition to the Konica Minolta family. Its sharp optical zoom lens covers a 28-200mm equivalent focus range. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE A1 5MP Digital Camera is for clicking super sharp images even when taken with an unsteady hand. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE G600 Digital Camera has a faster autofocus response, and a fully retracting lens which makes it ideally suited for travel. Other digital models include Konica Minolta DiMAGE A2, DiMAGE A200, DiMAGE G600, DiMAGE X1, DiMAGE X31, DiMAGE X50, DiMAGE X60, DiMAGE X, DiMAGE Z2, DiMAGE Z3, DiMAGE Z5, DiMAGE Z10 and DiMAGE Z20 |
