Nikon D50Nikon D50 is a digital SLR camera announced on 20th April, 2005. This entry-level camera sports 23.7 mm by 15.6 mm DX format image sensor with 6.1 million effective pixels. It features high-speed continuous shooting of up to 137 frames, while shutter speeds from 30 to 1/4,000 sec. and flash sync speeds up to 1/500 sec. In addition, it incorporates a 420-pixel RGB sensor for accurate exposure control in all types of lighting situations and has a refined 5-area autofocus system that features speed, precision, broad frame coverage and class-leading low-light detection that makes it easy to take great pictures in low light situations. Nikon’s Nikon D50 digital camera also includes scene-optimized Digital Vari-Program modes that allow clicking pictures in various layouts like Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Child, Close Up, Sports or Night Portrait. It is compatible with PictBridge printers and can shoot 2.5 frames per second in continuous mode. Additionally, it has a two-inch (50 mm) polysilicon TFT LCD with 130,000 pixels that facilitates viewing images. It is compatible with SD Memory Card and supports uncompressed NEF and JPEG formats. Nikon D50 camera is an easy-to-operate camera mounted with interchangeable Nikon F lens and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which claims to be able to take up to 2,000 shots on a single charge. |
