Nikon D70Introduced at the 2004 PMA Annual Convention and Trade Show, the Nikon D70 digital SLR camera is manufactured by Nikon Corporation. It features a Nikon DX format sensor with 6.1 million effective pixels. It features a high-speed continuous 3 fps shooting of up to 144 frames, with shutter speeds from 30 sec to 1/8000 sec. In addition, it incorporates a 3D Color Matrix or center-weighted metering for accurate exposure control in all types of lighting situations, a refined 5-area autofocus system that features speed, precision, broad frame coverage and a class-leading low-light detection system that makes it easy to take great pictures in low-light conditions. Nikon D70 digital cameras, released in early 2005, were upgraded with two-inch TFT screens, having 130,000 pixels enabling to view images. In addition, there are scene-optimised Digital Vari-Program modes that allow the clicking of pictures in various layouts like Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Child, Close Up, Sports or Night Portrait. The Nikon D70 is compatible with CompactFlash (Type I or Type II) or Hitachi Microdrive and supports uncompressed RAW and JPEG (EXIF 2.2) formats. Nikon D70 camera is an easy-to-operate camera mounted with interchangeable Nikon F lens. Other types of lens for Nikon D70 include Nikkor AF / F-mount, D-Types of lenses. It is powered by a EN-EL3a battery with slightly higher capacity and has a terminal for a proprietary remote release cable (MC-DC1). |
