Duck

Duck porcelain showpieces and duck-shaped glassware are manufactured by various chinaware and tableware manufacturing companies. Duck showpieces are in high demand for their aesthetic value.

One of the more popular pieces of duck related porcelain are the Carlton Ware Duck and Ducklings on a Nest Dish and Cover ñ a 20 cm high white pottery product, which is 24 cm long and features a ribbed base. The showpiece features a large duck sitting on a nest and on the either side there are nine ducklings. Also popular are the Lladro Figurines of duck, one of which is the Lladro Figure No 4552 ñ a sleeping duck figurine, which is 4 1/2 inches tall and the other is the Lladro Figure No 4553, a "quacking duck" figurine 3 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches long.

Duck figurines and wall pockets made by Beswick are also popular, especially those of mallard ducks like the Beswick Mallard Duck 756 and the Beswick Mallerd Flying Duck 596. Duck figurines made from exotic and rare materials like gemstones or Swarovski crystals are also in high demand and usually command a premium as they are much sought after. Dishes and tableware with duck prints or duck-inspired designs are also sought after by collectors.
