Liverpool

The Liverpool Football Club is an England based football club for professional players. They play in the Premier League and have won eighteen First Division titles, seven FA Cups, seven League Cups, five European Cups and three UEFA Cups. The club is also a founder member of the G-14 group of leading European football clubs. The formation of the club, in 1892, was the result of a dispute between Liverpool and Everton. In mid-February of the 1900-01 season, Liverpool won its first title after nine wins and three draws. In 1950, Liverpool made its first appearance at Wembley. On the December 1, 1959, Shankly, a Huddersfield Town boss, was appointed as the manager for Liverpool Football Club.

Under the leadership of Shankly, Liverpool won its first FA Cup in 1965 and its first European Cup in 1977. In 1989, Liverpool witnessed a victory over Everton and grabbed their 16th championship crown. In 2005, the club claimed their crown as Kings of Europe through their victory in champion league. A year later, Liverpool Club won another FA Cup. The home colour for the team remains red; whereas the "away" colour for the team is yellow with red strips on sleeves. Liverpool’s traditional colours are red and white with home kit being red since the mid 1960s.

The Liverpool Football Club is famous ñ so much so, that there have been jerseys and other sports accessories marketed with their logos. These jerseys look exactly like the ones worn by the players and are available in all sizes.
