RangersFormed in 1873 and based at Glasgow, Scotland, the Rangers Football club is one of the most successful clubs in Scottish football. It was formed by Peter McNeil, his brother Moses, Peter Campbell and William McBeath. It was the first club in the world to have won more than 50 league titles and is sometimes known as Glasgow Rangers; however, its real name is Rangers F.C. Overall, the Glasgow Rangers have won 107 trophies and hold the world record for the highest number of domestic league championships amounting to 51 titles. The club is based at the 51,082-capacity Ibrox Stadium in south-west Glasgow and has been recognized as one of UEFA’s five-star stadiums. The club has been identified with the Protestant Unionist community of Scotland and has arch rivalry with Celtic F.C., the other major football club based in Glasgow. The two clubs are together known as the Old Firm. The Rangers have launched two jerseys kits: home kit jersey and away kit that includes a jersey, shorts and socks. The home kit consists of a traditional blue coloured jersey with a red collar and sporting white panels on the shoulder tops as well as a saltire on the right shoulder that underlines the Rangers' Scottish roots. The shorts are white in colour and the socks are red and black in colour. The away kit comprises a red and white coloured combination of jersey with red shorts and white socks, giving the strip a classic look. These kits are available in various sizes for all age groups ó from infants to babies to men to women. |
